Marina Square at Christmas Time

Never heard of Chuggington, but I guess it’s a kiddy book series about trains. In my time we had Enid Blyton’s Noddy. And it was just about the books which we got from the library or second hand bookstore. There were never any toys to go with the books and I find that so much healthier. Just too much marketing and commercialization these days.

Ikea has simple Christmas Decor that I like and so does Muji.

With radiation from cell phones, this traditional type phone called the Pop Phone, in bright colours, that you can plug into your mobile, seems like a good idea. When you’re at home or at your office desk, but it’s too heavy and bulky to lug around. Saw this at HMV and I thought the electric blue was nice.

Ellie takes gymnastics at Marina Square, so we’ve seen the Chuggington set up, although we haven’t stayed for the show as we don’t know it (and E’s not into trains…they’re not sparkly and there are no princesses). They have a cute train that kids can ride up on the third floor over by the indoor playground area that’s new this week (or maybe in the last two)
