I think the Liang Court supermarket is just wonderful. It has the most beautiful arrangement in terms of both packaging and layout. Just so relaxing to grocery shop here. I love how they very diligently change their offerings with each new festival. So far I’ve seen it change for Christmas, the Japanese New Year and now the Chinese New Year. A total pleasure even to just browse and pick up a few items each time.
If you’ve never tried them, you just must. Eggs rolls are another version of love letters but I think even yummier.
I do love my mandarin oranges too. They have to be mixture of sour and sweet. I don’t like them just purely sweet.
The tiny little tangerines are good too.
Somehow I can understand why the fruit here is so expensive. Just look at the packaging and the perfection of each fruit.
Never tried Sakura tea before but fell for the packaging once again. So pretty.
Fresh seafood section decorated with the lucky fish symbol which signifies abundance.
I think this is probably the best Yu Sheng you can find. (traditional raw fish salad which is tossed before eating, for luck and prosperity)
Not a traditional Chinese snack, but I do love this spicy tapioca cracker. Indonesian origins I believe.
I like the theme of a mix of two cultures.
Orange bath salts. I like that you get to use this pretty tin after.
The starchy art glue that we used as little kids.
So cute huh?
