Haven’t been to Somerset 313 in a while and the additions I spotted were the purple lady and the new chair area in the lobby. More free seating is definitely a good thing and a rarity in Singapore.

Also wanted to check out the Harris Bookstore as it’s other branch at Great World City is closing. This one is surviving I guess because they specialize in comics.
Thought this manga called The Resident Tourist by a Singapore artist was pretty well done. It’s nice to see familiar sites like the MRT in comic form. And familiar feelings and expressions.
And another comic book which features the idea of Steve Jobs was interesting.

Tried out a new Malayan cafe. Had popiah. Partner was not too impressed with the Assam laksa. He has had much better elsewhere. His pick is the one at the King’s Hotel Penang Buffet.
