Haven’t been to Tampines 1 in a while and already I see a couple of new stores. The most interesting one being sqft. the design store.
Thought the pink chopsticks were cute but I prefer my chopsticks separate. I think I would find these harder to use as I cross my chopsticks (wrong I know).
I was attracted to the pink stuff.
Pink always looks good against blue.
I was attracted to the red giraffes as well.
Was tempted by these happy looking mugs with a cover.
These candles were interesting too. I just discovered today that there are candles that are smokeless. I need those. The cheap but pretty ones I bought at Ikea make me cough.
More of the new. A stationary store where you can get a good view of the Japanese food court Manpuku and a local western cafe called Lena which replaces Tea Dot.
I’m glad you like SQFT too, it’s one of my favorite stores there. Do keep coming back, there are massive changes in line coming soon 🙂
I happen to come across the store and went in to take a look. Unfortunately, I had a bad encounter. I took down one of the glass item to have a closure look when it brushed off another glass item and it felled to the floor. I was quite shocked but luckily the staff understands that it is not the customer’s fault and just swept it up. Now I am rather afraid to step into the shop again. Here’s my feedback: I find that all the glass items are placed so close to each other, brim to brim, such that when you take out one item, they definitely will brush against each other, thus causing the fall. They should have some space between each item for safer handling. I hope to see the new arrangement in future, meanwhile I am staying away from the shop for now. Thank you.
Oh gosh…I can completely understand your fear. I would have had a shock too.
i had the same experince in “iwannagohome!”, and i have to pay for the broken glasses 🙁
oh dear. That sucks.
