Between these two places, I would say go for Yoguru. They advertise their frozen yoghurt to have live cultures which is something that you have to look out for if you want to be healthy. I have heard that some yoghurts are made of powder and not as healthy. Although I am still suspicious of yoghurt and how much sugar goes into them to compensate for the lack of fat. Wouldn’t it be better to just indulge in ice cream? I guess yoghurt is still healthier. I would really like to try Pink Berry after watching that episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Larry David makes it look so darn good.
The cakes sold here are richer than the full cakes you order for birthdays. It’s layered with fudge in between. Way too cloyingly rich for me. The fudge is also a bit too gelatin like. I much prefer Sara Lee Fudge cake if I want to feed my chocolate cake craving. I know it’s processed and frozen but I just love the taste.
Hey I don’t really like Awfully Chocolate either. While I don’t think it’s cloying, I think it has the texture of kueh!
Also regarding the yoghurt ice cream, nah, i say go for the real thing if that’s what you want. It’s very true that food is so adulterated nowadays that you’re best eating what you feel happy with, getting endorphins from being happy, and then exercising it off. Hahaha that’s my excuse anyway, the exercise usually never materialises.
Yeah I prefer going for the full cream stuff and having less of it then diluted stuff like low fat milk. Sipped on skim milk once and it tastes like milk diluted in water. Awful.
