Yayoiken: Authentic Japanese Food at Liang Court

We are becoming regulars at Yayoiken as it has good quality and service. Here’s where you can get real Japanese rice and udon unlike a lot of the fake local take on Japanese food out there. The little condiments are a nice touch and if you have an early lunch you can avoid the long queues. It’s nice to have real Japanese rice.

Especially if you’re like B and love the pickled vegetables.

The Oyaku Don I had was very good and extremely filling. Especially as it comes with Miso soup.

The restaurant’s located at the basement where all the little food stalls are. Near the supermarket.

  1. Hi Book junkie,

We are launching a “first time in Singapore” Hinamatsuri Festival (Doll Festival) – this Feb 2013.

We recognize that Singapore Actually is an avid follower of the Japan culture and happenings at Liang Court and would like to send you our press release.

You will be one of the first to find out on the details of the events that we have line-up for the festival.
