Coffee at Wisma and blogging with an iPad

Yes, it’s possible to get a seat at some cafes in town. You see, I was disappointed at the winding queue at Paul at Ngee Ann City but found the upper floors at Wisma not too packed with the exception of Starbucks so I headed to TCC which is just next to the Seafolly store. I get confused between TCC, Coffee Club and Coffee Connection? They seem very similar in terms of their menu and branding.

The staff here are nice, but service takes ages as they seem understaffed. That was ok with me though as I had time to kill waiting for my companion. But I really wanted a croissant from Paul. The cookie was good though. I had missed lunch and was starving by then, but it was too close to dinner time and I didn’t want to be stuffed before my dinner companion arrived.

It sure is hard using an iPad instead of my computer to type. Just so unused to this virtual keyboard. Especially with no up down arrow keys. Trying out someone’s iPad and I am glad to have an iMac instead. Right now I don’t think an iPad could replace an iMac. For me at least. What do you blog with? If you say your smart phone, I will be very impressed.

Oops.. guilty.. I do blog with the iPhone if I’m overseas and manage to get wifi. Having said that don’t be too impressed for the post is usually short with just a couple of lines. I still prefer to use my notebook for blogging. 🙂

While I’m travelling I blog my phone… but that’s because it comes with a physical keypad! Hands down, an actual laptop is so much more convenient.

I’ve tried to blog from other platforms, and especially with the photos, I just can’t do it. I need a real laptop if I’m blogging 🙂

I blog best on my iMac 🙂 I hope it doesn’t go kaput on me. It’s been hanging a lot and I could kick myself for not buying the Apple Care extended warantee thing. I was meaning to, but it was one of those things on my To-Do list that I never got around to…till it was too late (sob) 🙁
