Books for a Dollar at Kallang Leisure Park

When I was taking the escalator at the MRT station called Stadium, it jerked. I then wondered what if this thing suddenly stopped? It would be a long flight down. Pretty scary as I think this very long escalator goes up 3 levels. It makes for a pretty picture though.

The very old and impressive trees outside the stadium should be left alone. I hope they are never chopped down.

Came across a bookfair with old books going for a dollar. I tend to be anal about books as I like them in pristine condition, but this would be a great buy for little kids who are usually pretty rough with books. Mostly children’s books anyway.

Had to snap a shot of this. Can’t quite put a finger on it, but this children’s book seems a bit stereotypical. Reminds me of my primary one school text books where the Indian girl was always named Meena and the Malay girl Siti. Or something like that.
