Stumbled Across a Malaysia Travel Fair at Suntec

I love it when I come across things I didn’t expect. Like stumbling upon a Malaysia Travel Fair at Suntec. At first when I saw the lego dragon I thought this was a Legoland promotion thing. But it was more. There were stalls promoting all the wonders of Malaysia – Malacca, Cameron Highlands, Langkawi and more.

The people manning the stalls were so nice too. I am third generation Singapore. But fellow Singaporeans please don’t be mad, just generally – aren’t Malaysians nicer? They are not in a rush and everyone at the stalls were so polite. They were not even pushy which is a rarity in Singapore. Here customer service is they will be nice to you, maybe, as long as you buy something and if you don’t, you get the grouchy face. But I must say the little boutique outfits sprouting up in little corners of Singapore are changing the face of customer service and I really like the new personal touch by this young shop owners.

The Legoland stall which I am sure will interest the kids. I wouldn’t mind checking it out either. I find huge lego displays quite fascinating and artistic.

Made me want to go straight away. All that space and nature. And not to forget the amazing street food and old style coffeeshops. I’m getting hungry just thinking about food in Malaysia.

There was a jovial food demonstration going on too.
