JCube: Ice Skating Rink, Taiwanese Restaurant & Japanese Furniture Store

An update since I just posted the Franc Franc photos and took pretty long to upload the rest. Here goes.

I think people who have vertigo will not be too comfortable sitting at the ice skating rink stands. The seats seem to be tilting downwards and you feel like you’re sliding off.  There are also no hand rails to hold on to, to get to your seat. Ok, I’m a wimp.

We were very impressed by this elderly man skating like a professional. And as you can see from the photos, you don’t have to sit at the stand for a good view.  Just get a seat at one of the dining places – if you can, because they are all packed, especially KFC.

The guys in yellow seem to be the ice rink staff.

We managed to get a seat at the Taiwanese restaurant this time. I quite liked the pork noodles.

Bare bulbs seem to be a new feature I see everywhere these days and I love it.

The table design was interesting.

What I posted a few days ago – just before the store opened:

You must try JCube on a weekday. A world of difference. Uploading Franc Franc photos first. Since it’ll be open tomorrow. I could only take a peek. My thoughts were, this would be good for a cafe or boutique shop owner. At least there’s another option besides Ikea.

We used to go Franc Franc when we were living in Tokyo. Gotta see how this one differs from the one in Tokyo. 🙂

It was mad crazy in labour day! The whole mall is packed! It’s a pretty store and a must go if you want to bring home some nice decorative and random stuffs. My husband kept telling me not to bring home any clutter and do I resisted. Boo.

An alternative to Ikea? Intriguing! Must visit! Are the prices similar? And is it as hard as it is in Ikea to leave empty-handed? (On second maybe must not visit, since our apartment is fairly small.)

You do such nice destination guides. I feel as though I get to travel through you!
