Double Down & The Avengers Movie

Just don’t do it. It’s not worth it. I mean the burger. The movie is a total yes even though I was bored by the first part. It got better and better as it progressed, apart from some irritating people giving lame comments at the back of the movie theatre. Oh yes, and the annoying couple who entered the theatre super late, searched for their seat seat for what seemed like ages and proceeded to sit down in front of us when the movie was at it’s climax and just 10 minutes away from ending.

Anyway, I finally tried the Double Down burger by KFC (the things I try just for the sake of blogging about it). After a bite you’ll want to put it down. Their Fried Chicken is bad enough but this one adds bacon and melted cheese to the mix. Basically it’s two Zinger patties minus the bun and with cheese and bacon added. The best thing about it – the Avengers on the box. But how could they miss out Loki. I’ve seen the movie now and I absolutely loved the bad guy, Loki and the adorable Hulk. I am a fan of Scarlett Johansson but I am absolutely bored stiff by her in this movie. She seems wooden and she is not convincing as a Russian woman. Perhaps she just didn’t get any witty lines. I don’t think I’ve liked seeing her in action roles. I prefer her in artsy type movies such as Match Point.

The double down was disgusting int he US where KFC is actually good…I can’t even begin to imagine how unpalatable it would be here.

Yeah I just gave in cos everyone was going on about how good it was. To me the oiliness was kinda gross.

I saw the ad for the double down in the cinema. Even when it was presented as appealingly as possible on a big-screen big-budget ad it looked revolting.

And I’m saying this as a person who usually has no problem eating really unhealthy food.
