Pinnacle at Duxton

I always think of the Pinnacle at Duxton as LKY’s flat. It’s imprinted in my mind that it was his brainchild. So I don’t call it Pinnacle, but Lee Kuan Yew’s flat each time I pass it. Pinnacle@Duxton, the official name, is just too long.

It’s definitely the most impressive looking HDB and it has a great location in an area that is now becoming so hip. It’s also the world’s tallest Public Housing. Singapore seems to like to get into the World Record Books for things like this. But I am sure the view of fireworks and sunsets must be impressive. I wouldn’t mind living here, just a stone’s throw away from all the cool areas like Duxton Hill and Ann Siang Hill. I have yet to pay the 5 bucks to go up to the 50th floor that’s open to public for a view.

  1. A very nice post with good photos

  2. You can actually go up to the Skybridge at the top of Pinnacle@Duxton. The price was inly 5 SGD per person per access to the skybridge but they only accept a card compliant with the Singapore Standard of Contactless ePurse Application (CEPAS), for example, EZ-Link card.

The view up from there is quite stunning and the skybridge is quite large and connected so you can have a very good jogging experience in the sky!
