I wanted to like The Plain so much but I guess it was just way too crowded when I checked it out. The boy who lead us in was very sweet. Very warm and welcoming service indeed – the best we’ve had yet. Perhaps I should try the place another day when it’s not too filled with people – but as it’s so popular, it may be a rare occurrence. It was a bit hard for us to find as the cafe is quite unobtrusive just like all the other hip cafes we’ve been to like Selfish Gene, Group Therapy and The Pigeon Hole. You could easily walk pass these little spaces and miss them altogether. But all I can say is that the folks living at the Pinnacle at Duxton are spoilt for choice when it comes to cool cafes. Boy do I wish I lived in one of those units.
