Eng Hoon Street is So Hip Now, but it was Always Charming

Not only did we get to check out the new Tiong Bahru Bakery that replaced an egg shop and is helmed by a Parisian, that everyone’s talking about, we felt refreshed in this pretty estate with it’s charming white low rise flats.  Wish all HDB flats could look like this.  The next time we’re here we want to check out The Orange Thimble which is just next to the new Bakery. It was empty in contrast to the packed bakery as it’s pretty low key. I like their motto: “Wear a Thimble to Protect Yourself from the Little Pricks in Life”
