Parking costs about S$1.50 an hour and I liked the cute insect logo like this one of a butterly to help you identify where you parked. There are 2 parking lots and we drove further down to the covered one at the Visitor’s Centre.
It started pouring suddenly when we got there. The skies were already darkening as we were driving there. It was fine with me, as it always means that once the rain stops it will be so much cooler.
The opening hours, although I don’t see myself waking up in time to come here at 5am.
It’s a pity locals don’t wear hats.
Thought these would make cool vases. Thought of Yuling when I saw this.
Wanted to head here first but went to the one next to it instead as this one was too packed. Will cover my dining experience at Verandah in another post.
Not impressed by the artificiality of the super trees.
For those who can’t walk too far, you can get a buggy ride from here but the queue was long and I think it costs S$5 per person.
The back of the Marina Bay Sands is not as attractive as it’s front with the reflective windows. I’m guessing the view from the hotel room must be nice though.
One thing I liked about the gardens. All the use of wood. Theses benches for instance look pretty attractive.
Lots of the plants are not grown yet so the gardens look quite sparse still. Perhaps I need to wait a year or so.
When I saw the Super Tree Dining area, I was thinking I should have come here for a sandwich instead. It was pretty crowded though.
Very much a food court but with tree like structures within and more atas food offerings.

Wow…Claire and I didn’t see half of that, and I was really wondering where the food might be!
I think I missed out on some of what you saw 😉 Hmm perhaps another visit is in order.
