Internet Break

Sometimes I feel it’s important to take an internet break. For me it’s just to rest my eyes and recharge myself. Find my writing is getting stale and I need to read and live more before I get back to the screen. It’s also because life is getting busier and more interesting. Having a blast with the little ones in the family. Such a joy to see them grow. Will be back to blog, but I’ll take a one week break during Chinese New Year. Lots of special birthdays this month too.

Just thought I’d write this in case you think I’ve disappeared. No intention to.

Also will leave you with this great advice from my cousin. I need a reminder every now and then as I’m always worried about what other people think and I’m very sensitive to comments. Gets me down. Here’s the advice: Do what you think it is right and makes you happy. Follow your instincts. Don’t bother about what other people think.

I found another saying helped me out a lot: It’s none of my business what other people think of me.

    BTW
Typo in third from last sentence: You Meant “What” – Guess you do need the break ha ha

  4. Totally hear you! I take a long (~ 2-3 months) blog break every 1.5 years or so. I don’t always do it intentionally, but I have found that I need that break and space to recharge and to ‘refill’ myself away from the blog’s ‘eyes’. Have a restful and fulfilling break! Happy CNY to you and your loved ones! 🙂

Enjoy your week of rest and revel in the CNY festivities!

I can totally relate to what you said about caring about what others may think of you, because I constantly overthink about what someone else may think about every single action I do, every single word I speak, and it is tiring to say the least. But we are blessed to have people around to remind us too that it doesn’t matter. It is our life and our freedom to live it the way we want! 🙂

oh yes…the overthinking…do that so much….like I will go over the same incident or words over and over and be unable to sleep.
