Unwittingly Queued for Fried Fish Soup. Worth it?

Talking about queues, I was mistaken when there was hardly any queue at my favourite fried fish soup stall at the Old Airport Road Hawker Centre. Been not feeling well, so instead of wan tan mee or rojak I opted for this lovely broth instead. It has fried fish, seaweed and tofu in it too. Not too keen about the bitter green kang kong.

Back to the story, suddenly out of nowhere all these people popped up to get their takeaway orders and I ended up having to wait for 15 minutes for my turn. It was so annoying. I much prefer the system the rojak stall uses where you pick a number and wait for your turn to place the order. Then at least you have an idea of how many people are before you.

But my complaints melted away once I tasted the delicious broth. I always opt for milk to be added.
