We literally stumbled upon this cafe at the Upper Serangoon area. My partner spotted it from the coffeeshop where we were having dinner. It’s another hip little ice cream waffles and coffee cafe located within HDB blocks and we like it. It has a more homely than hipster vibe though due to the friendly owners. It’s a nice secret hidden away place, that’s frequented by regulars (the owner seemed to know everyone who walked in).
I think the waffles here are great. The apple tea drink not so much but my partner liked the matcha latte. So we would come here for waffles again.
Within the cafe is OTG flowers (it’s a florist too). Imagine the lovely scents when the place is filled with fresh blooms.
I noticed that the new tiny HDB cafes all mostly have just stool type seats. Not very comfortable for older folks like me who like back support. Not a place I would linger but perhaps for a short chat over dessert after a meal at the nearby coffeeshop. This is why I would prefer cafes like Woodshed with their sofa seats.

maybe this is also one way for them to keep the turnover going especially since they typically have limited space in the cafe. i would prefer too cafes with more comfortable seats because these stools are really too ‘hard’ for a longer sit. :p
yeah I could only sit around for half and hour at the most.
