Where I Used My CDC Vouchers #6: Teochew Handmade Pau, Toa Payoh, Lorong 1, Block 127 Hawker Centre

Honestly we wanted to try the famous carrot cake here at this Toa Payoh market and food centre on level 2. (The ground level is the wet market so you got to take the lift or climb up to this level – covid makes it all a bit hard with all the barricades), but the stall was closed even though google indicated it was open. Spotted two other stalls here where we could use the vouchers and they looked old school and nostalgia called.

Bustling with many regulars
The elderly owner who is a bit hidden in the photo, was very patient helping me scan the vouchers redemption QR code
Old school style big pork paus cost S$1.60 each (should have gone for the Fan Choy which seemed more popular)
