Malls with the Cheapest Parking in Singapore: Weekdays & Weekends

This is a self indulgent post (that I need to keep updating) as I’m tired of always searching for parking rates and want to find it all in one place for malls I frequent and more of them located in The Central area rather than the outskirts. I tend to only include malls that I prefer, that don’t get too “crazy crowded” or are really too “dead” with not even a place for coffee. It’s quite a subjective list and it’s also about the vibe you get there or the particular outlets you like to frequent.

With inflation, we are all feeling cost pressures and knowing where the cheapest parking is in Singapore helps. It’s hard to stay home all the time when the weather is a killer (malls have air conditioning to beat the humidity). Also it’s a tad nerve wrecking to take the bus or MRT like I used to pre covid, although I miss it so much especially at off peak hours where you can get a seat.

For the same mall it’s often different on the weekends vs the weekdays, depending on whether they serve an office clientele. So left some of the higher rates in there for reference.

Let’s start with the weekend where most people are out. And I’m highlighting the daytime as I’m never out at night, being an oldie who’s in bed by then. And it’s always cheaper and per entry at night anyway. Also 2 hours will suffice as we don’t tend to linger for long. Hence the 2 hour estimates.

Just to note that best of all is free parking at Dempsey and The Grandstand but these are technically more of a dining or grocery place than a mall as such. Also these days it’s crazy at Dempsey on the weekends especially without a reservation.

Also there are some parking promos so if you can hold your purchases to spend at that particular mall, it might be better than getting nothing at all. I guess that’s what the mall is aiming for though. Trying to attract your dollars.
