If you take the MRT to Changi Airport, you’ll get to Terminal 3. If you want to get to Terminal 2 you need to walk a bit to where the skytrains are and then you’ll be in T2 before you know it. I can’t help but be proud of our airport.
The skytrains are near this area, where everyone seems to stop for a photo.
The airport layout and the flights at each terminal. Does this make you wanna travel?
The view from the skytrain is pretty cool. So many taxis and this is great because you hardly have to wait for one when you touch down.
We’re at T2 now.
Just noticed this new soup and sandwich place.
T2 looks a little beat compared to T3, but everything looks neat and orderly, Singapore style.
A Japanese Pasta place.
Starbucks is at this terminal, in case you were wondering. Saw the management asking some students who had probably plonked themselves there for hours, to probably come back after peak hour. They didn’t look too happy about it, but I guess they probably like the quiet of the airport that they probably don’t get at home. And also the companionship of a friend. To be fair to airport customers, I guess this was the right thing to do as the Starbucks was packed to the gills with travelers with their trolleys, having no spare seats.
The palm tree reminded me of Tan Cheng Bock. It was his logo during the recent Presidential Elections. For the first time I am really looking at a palm tree and it’s pretty amazing how neatly it fans out.
I love our airport! It’s really the pride of our nation. Everytime exchange students in uni told me how stunned they were by our beautiful airport, I’d beam in pride. I can’t wait to go there for my coming trip to Japan 😀 It’s the only airport in the world where you’d wanna check in for a flight really early. hahaha 🙂
yeah Ruth, whenever we’re dopping off family at the airport we go early to have a meal there 🙂 So true
