Travel: Longing for Things I Don’t Get in Singapore
Singapore is much safer and has generally much cleaner air than the cities surrounding us and for that I am grateful. It also has my home sweet home, my stuff and my own bed etc. Travel itself is such a … Continue reading

Manifesting Travel
My cousins put up their results of an online travel quiz, so I was curious enough to do it too. They are a dozen years my junior, so in comparison I really haven’t travelled that much. This survey only looks … Continue reading

Perth Trip Day 9: Sad the Trip has Ended but always glad to be home sweet home
My mum was especially happy to be home in her comfort zone. I think I was sad to leave as I prefer the cold weather and nature in Australia. But also have been feeling like I’ve finally been let out … Continue reading
Perth Trip Day 9: Lunch at Toastface Grillah
Realised this is a breakfast place and the most popular items were sold out. Glad to have experienced this laid back very hip hard to find eatery though. Found it through Google and various food reviews so we had to … Continue reading
Perth Trip Day 8: Breakfast at Customs House
The service wasn’t as warm and inviting as the little cafes but the food quality was good.
Perth Trip Day 8: On Our Way to Breakfast at the CBD
Sad that it was our last morning in Perth. I was not prepared to go back to the humidity heat and crowds in Singapore. But of course miss our family back home.

Perth Trip Day 6: Subway Dinner at Watertown Brand Outlet
Not bad actually. Subway in Australia is always much better than Singapore with the fresher produce.
Perth Trip Day 6: Freemantle Market
The market looked less bustling compared to the last time I was there in September 2015 before we could even fathom covid. There was just one busker compared to the dozens I saw 7 years ago. Didn’t see Levi himself … Continue reading

Perth Trip Day 5: Westfield Carousel Mall
I’m not a mall person but we had fun anyway. This mall is 12km from Perth city centre and is the largest shopping centre in the whole of Western Australia. Only trouble was there was difficulty getting a taxi back … Continue reading

Perth Trip Day 5: Wonderful Brunch at Gusto Food (South Perth)
Warm welcoming service and amazing food. It was cold outside and the wait staff recommended us a place to sit where it wouldn’t be too cold.
Perth Trip Day 4: Tony Romas Dinner
I wasn’t very hungry and service was really bad. One of two rude experiences during the whole trip. But there was a really nice waitress too. Usually it’s just one person among the mostly really nice patient folk. Maybe they … Continue reading
Perth Trip Day 4: Drive back to Perth CBD
Driving from Bunbury crossing the Swan River and back to the Perth CBD area. We checked into a lovely hotel in Perth with a great location – Peppers King’s Square Hotel.

Perth Trip Day 4: A Cafe & a Gorgeous Rose Garden- The Kodja Place Rose Maze, Kojonup
The sun was intense even on this autumn day so the roses seem to be wilting a bit but they were beautiful.

Perth Trip Day 4: Sustainable Farm Experience at Oranje Tractor Wines
My mum enjoyed this tremendously as she loves gardens and fruit trees. It was quite an education for all of us to know that Mother Nature can thrive and provide only if we get out of the way. Pesticides are … Continue reading
Perth Trip Day 4: Breakfast at Bayside B&B Was the Best I’ve ever Had
I’m still dreaming of the marmalade toast. Everything was freshly made from scratch and you can tell. The owner and chef was just so warm and professional. I would highly recommend this place that my sister found. She’s great at … Continue reading
Perth Trip Day 3: Jojo’s Pizza Dinner Delivery at the B&B
We ordered delivery to the hotel. The lovely owner helped. Satisfyingly cheesy pizza. But a bit disappointed at the soggy fries and garlic bread. Super generous portions though. Nice cosy sofa nook outside our rooms to dine and that was … Continue reading
Perth Trip Day 3: Beachhouse at Bayside – Wonderful B&B at Albany
We were charmed by this place from the onset. Truly felt like a beautiful cottage home. So cosy.
Perth Trip Day 3: The Most Spectacular Sunset at The Gap and Natural Bridge
My mum and sis truly marvelled at the views and sunset here. For me it was exciting to see the power and beauty of the ocean once again. One of the most energising sights on our trip. I took videos … Continue reading

Perth Trip Day 3: Elephant Rocks and Greens Pool
Felt a bit spiritual here as I had a strong scent of holy ash as we walked towards the elephant rocks (and I’m not even religious). I am spiritual though and I do believe in other dimensions and that science … Continue reading

Perth Trip Day 3: Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk
We were surprised that my mum found the tree top walk no problem at all. We all enjoyed being in the forest and breathing in that fresh scent. Feel fortunate to have had this commune with nature.
