New bookstore by a bank. Seems more affordable but New bookstore by a bank. Seems more affordable but I can’t get the extra discount as I don’t have an account with OCBC. Known as the 'World's Best Alternative Bookstore', BookXcess' mission is to encourage people to experience the joy and wonders of reading by making books affordable and accessible. I found out that it’s a Malaysian bookstore. FAQ Why are your books so cheap? Publishers sometimes overprint books and can't sell all of them to standard bookstores. These are also known as remainder books. As they are trying to clear their stock, we receive these copies at a discount, which we then pass on to you.

Originally I wanted to try out a new place @surreyhillsgrocer.sg …perhaps next time as it was really crowded even past lunch hour.

So yummy. Generously filled with cucumber too and So yummy. Generously filled with cucumber too and spicy 🌶️. It’s known as the Chinese burger. #roujiamo so flavourful. @peoplesparkcomplexsg some info from wiki: The meat is most commonly pork, stewed for hours in a soup containing over 20 spices and seasonings. Although it is possible to use only a few spices (which many vendors do), the resulting meat is less flavourful. Roujiamo is considered to be one of the world's oldest types of hamburgers, since the bread or the "mo" dates back to the Qin dynasty (221–206 BC) and the meat to the Zhou dynasty (1045–256 BC).
