Tasmania has some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen.
I’m blogging about a trip that took place before the pandemic for three reasons. 1. To re-live the beautiful experience, and 2. perhaps someone out there may find the information useful if they are lost on which state in Australia … Continue reading
As a child I didn’t have truly good memories of the beaches in Singapore. My sister and I often developed huge painful welts on our upper arms and always thought it was because we were allergic to sea water. We … Continue reading
Singapore is much safer and has generally much cleaner air than the cities surrounding us and for that I am grateful. It also has my home sweet home, my stuff and my own bed etc. Travel itself is such a … Continue reading
Felt a bit spiritual here as I had a strong scent of holy ash as we walked towards the elephant rocks (and I’m not even religious). I am spiritual though and I do believe in other dimensions and that science … Continue reading
We were surprised that my mum found the tree top walk no problem at all. We all enjoyed being in the forest and breathing in that fresh scent. Feel fortunate to have had this commune with nature.
It was about a 10 minute walk from our beautiful hotel chalet to the beach. I’m so glad we didn’t miss this as I found it so utterly refreshing. The feel of the soft sand and the reviving sounds of … Continue reading
It was a lovely drive with stops like this along the way. We had no real itinerary so often we were surprised.
Beautiful, spectacular views made us leave our hearts in Western Australia.
The drive was just very pleasant and I enjoyed every stop to view that glorious ocean.
My uncle always tells me about how he loves to take a walk by the Joondalup Lake, so I have been yearning to see the place in person. My sweet cousin drove us there and it was even more lovely … Continue reading
Decided to continue the list I started more than a decade ago. Since then probably some things on my list are no more, because Singapore is constantly morphing. But we are now blessed with Jewel and her majestic fountain. It … Continue reading
I say supposed to be, as we don’t really have the 4 seasons in Singapore apart from the monsoon seasons. Technically we are in the northern hemisphere, but so close to the equator that our days and nights are evenly … Continue reading
The Greens of Leura is one of the most fairytale like places we’ve stayed with a canopy bed and the most beautiful lounge area with the best teas and biscuits. There was also Sherry and it was so cosy you … Continue reading
The train journey was worth it once we reached the magical misty charming town of Luera. I think one of the loveliest places in the Blue Mountains and Australia. We experienced the full beauty of nature and small town charm … Continue reading
Travelled to Perth in mid September last year. The Spring weather was cool and I wouldn’t have minded it even a little colder. I’m very much a Winter person especially now with hysterectomy leasing to early menopause and with it … Continue reading
We just needed a day to gaze at the sea.
What I love about Singapore is that when they do something well, they really do it well. I just adore Parkland Green. Such a nice place to relax and I can’t wait for the East Coast Park renovation to the … Continue reading
Saw these just outside Lorong Chuan MRT Station. Wonder if they are bending to get more sunlight.
I had no idea that Parkland Green existed till B suggested we go there. Parts of it hardly looked like Singapore. I loved the section of trees that in a distance made me feel like I was transported to a … Continue reading
In spite of the heat it was nice to come here instead of a mall. I learnt that tortises have sharp claws that they used to go up the slope of the pond seemingly to lounge in the sun, and … Continue reading
