Thought I should put up my Christmas photos before it’s too late and I don’t feel Chrismassy anymore. The Christmas peacock angel was my favourite. Isn’t her head piece just fabulous? Catch a glimpse of her just outside Tangs.
Saw this interesting old shop selling nothing but green weighing scales that you can spot at most market stalls.
Got a chance to see the Christmas street lights before they are taken down and replaced with Chinese New Year decorations. Felt better after the walk. Dinner left us feeling terribly bloated as we over ordered as usual.
My mum wanted to drive through Little India to see the Deepavali Lights at night. We got into a jam but it was worth it. Love our street light ups and I can’t wait to see the Christmas night lights … Continue reading

It’s laid back and relaxed, but there’s every type of cuisine imaginable at Tanjong Katong. Local, American, Indian, Indonesian, British, Japanese – no excuse for not finding anything you like. We tend to be like that. We never know what … Continue reading
I hardly go out at night, but sent my sister off at the airport and on the way back I was once again surprised by how pretty the night skyline can be. Although I’ll probably never go on the flyer, … Continue reading
Joo Chiat Hotel – loved the palm trees painted on the side of the hotel. A coffee shop where they sell Vietnamese baguettes at night. Triangular curry puffs. Traditional Malay bridal attire. Bread Project. Vietnamese Restaurant that only opened at … Continue reading
Yellow Cabs. Marina Bay Sands up close. Weird looking alien lanterns with moving arms The majestic Marina Bay Sands has transformed our skyline for the better. The Singapore Flyer and helix bridge in the distance. Random jogger at night. Seems … Continue reading
I have absolutely no will power, so dieting by denying myself food after 7 pm is extreme torture. Trying to do it while food blogging makes me a masochist. In order to make a full confession here goes – I … Continue reading
