CNY2015: Parkway Parade
Interesting window displays and a creative take on the word for goat (which really looks like a goat as Chinese is a pictographic language). The promotional poster at Parkway Parade looked interesting too.
Parkway Parade: Pu Tien
Finally tried out the always packed Pu Tien chain at Parkway Parade. I was impressed with the hotter than it looks fresh chilli. But don’t think we’ll be returning as we both felt too stuffed after this meal and I … Continue reading
I Do Like the Malls at Christmas
It’s that time of year where the malls get more fun. I like to see how creative they can get with the decorations. At Parkway Parade the kids will get excited about Santa’s helper perched on a wreath. I only … Continue reading

Massive Crunch at the New Food Republic Food Court (Parkway Parade)
Want to feel the crunch? Go to a newly opened food court like we did. It was so crazy. At first B said forget it, let’s go somewhere else. But uncharacteristically I persuaded him to walk one more quick round, … Continue reading

Food Republic Taking Over Parkway Parade Food Court
I was forlorn to find the foodcourt at Parkway Parade under renovation. I know, a tad dramatic. But I did like coming here for the soya beancurd (tau huay), yellow bean fritters (ham chin pang), mee siam, mee rebus and … Continue reading

Uniqlo Replacing Borders at Parkway Parade
Update on 7 April 2012: Ok it’s open now and super crowded – I pass. What I posted earlier: I am not that thrilled about this, but many Uniqlo fans probably are. I think Uniqlo is not bad, especially for … Continue reading

Borders at Parkway Parade: Greeting Cards
So pretty. But a nice card with an attractive picture and a meaningful verse within, which used to cost about S$3 now costs at least about S$6.

Borders Bookstore at Parkway Parade
Takashimaya is my favourite bookstore in Singapore, but my next pick would be Borders and the Borders I like best is the one at Parkway Parade. It just seems cosier than the one in town. They have Cookie Monster … Continue reading

Singapore Daily Photos: Toy Story Christmas at Parkway Parade
Christmas with Woody and friends. I know of Toy Story, because of the sweetest little boy, who is still little, but I can’t refer to him as a baby anymore. Even when he was 2, he would say in the … Continue reading

Raspberry & Lychee Sponge Cake with Rose Flavored Topping
Saw this lovely red cake named Sweet Memories, at the Chocz Store at Parkway Parade Mall basement level. I thought they only sold chocolates, but apparently they now sell cakes as well.
