I’m Pretty Crazy about Rambutans
If you ask me, my favourite fruits are tropical. If they are not tropical, I find them quite bland. Tropical fruits tend to be sweeter and are equivalent to dessert. Mention durian, chempedak, rambutan or mango and my eyes light … Continue reading

Easter Bunny in Distress
Saw this really funny White Chocolate Easter Bunny at Swiss Bake at Nex. Something went wrong with the shape of the mouth and the missing front teeth. Makes the bunny look like it either ate some really hot peppers or … Continue reading
Humdrum Mall Observations: Bishan Junction 8
This shop, the Icing Room, would be quite pretty and attractive (I for one can’t resist pink). If it was the only one of its kind. But it’s a part of a chain and when you see them everywhere, it … Continue reading

Psychopath on Board?
After gorging on laksa, we were strolling around the Alexandra area in an effort to feel less bloated. Nothing much to see. Mostly shops selling tyres and car assessories here. Saw some really weird car signs. Boredom and blogging makes … Continue reading

The Kindness Bus
But why does the Daisy look like it’s frowning?
Half Rainy Half Sunny
Sometimes the sky in Singapore can look really interesting when you can see that it’s raining a distance away but in the foreground it’s still scorching.
Weather in Singapore during Chinese New Year
It’s typically hot and windy during Chinese New Year. But I welcome the short downpours that come and provide much needed relief. The Tamil harvest festival (Ponggal) coincides during this period and was celebrated on Sunday although it’s not a … Continue reading
New at West Coast Plaza
Since I feel tired of complaining and being angry, I’m back to my more frivolous posts. Here’s a new ride at West Coast Plaza that looks like fun for the kids.

Singapore on her 46th Birthday
Took a double decker bus around a small part of our clean island. Haven’t sat on the upper deck in many years and I recommend it. Thought these bunch of flags sewn together and fluttering in the strong breeze was … Continue reading

Tiong Bahru Hawker Centre
The design of the Tiong Bahru Food centre is pretty unique, but your car will get cooked at the rooftop parking lot if you linger for too long. Eat and dash. This time around I was not impressed by the … Continue reading

Nagging Task: Backing Up My Photos on a Hard Drive
Trying to force myself to spend some time to back up my photos. It’s one of those mind numbingly boring tasks you just know you need to do, but keep pushing aside. I always manage to find something more compelling … Continue reading

Uniquely Singapore: Colourful Buildings
I think Singapore is one of the few places in the world with colourful buildings. They add prettiness to our skyline. What’s best is, it doesn’t cost a cent to appreciate our old restored Architecture. One of the simple pleasures.

The Most Handsome Cze Char Restaurant?
The sign definitely caught our attention. Maybe the owner Irvin is really handsome? Anyone had a meal here? How was the food? The place got pretty good reviews and the salted egg crab seems to be a hit.
