New Love for Pasarbella
What an absolute treat it was to visit Pasarbella, the upscale farmer’s market at Turf City (now called Grandstand), at an off peak hour. So peaceful and serene, I yearn to return. An extreme contrast to my very first visit … Continue reading

Other Stuff at Ikea Tampines that Caught My Eye
I was immediately attracted to this bowl. You see, I like things made of natural materials and I have a weakness for light woods. Even for flooring at home I prefer blonde woods to dark ones like teak. I usually … Continue reading

Gardens by the Bay: My Third Visit to the Flower Dome
I would not recommend buying the annual pass even though I’ve been here three times already. This time we got an additional discount using the Passion Card. It’s nice going with people who haven’t been there before. Just to see … Continue reading

Gardens by the Bay: The Flower Dome (Part 1)
You’ll be greeted by screens displaying pictures of flowers as you enter The Flower Dome. Guess things like this give the place more of a Theme Park than a garden feel. Upon first view we were impressed. Found the Dome … Continue reading

Valentine’s Day in Singapore
It’s a very commercialized holiday in Singapore. Every store is having some sort of sale. Like this new Candy store at Ngee Ann City. Everything is just more expensive today, especially flowers. I thought the Jelly Bean mascot was cute.

More Photos of the Lovely Flowers I Got
Just want to preserve the memory, which is the main reason why I blog. Was wondering what kind of plant this is. Pretty cool. The flowers were fresh for 3 days and then they started wilting.

Love the Pink Birthday Roses
What a lovely surprise it was. Such a pretty bouquet, and I was so happy to get them. They were from my mum and sis, who know I love roses. Even though flowers wilt, the photos will preserve them forever.

I Learnt Something on Goop
Gwyneth Paltrow gets quite a bit of flak for her newsletter and website Goop being too pretentious and in Singapore terms ‘atas’. She always seems so perfect too and able to do anything, which of course is infuriating for lesser … Continue reading
