Perth Trip Day 9: Sad the Trip has Ended but always glad to be home sweet home
My mum was especially happy to be home in her comfort zone. I think I was sad to leave as I prefer the cold weather and nature in Australia. But also have been feeling like I’ve finally been let out … Continue reading
Perth Trip Day 8: On Our Way to Breakfast at the CBD
Sad that it was our last morning in Perth. I was not prepared to go back to the humidity heat and crowds in Singapore. But of course miss our family back home.

Perth Trip Day 6: Subway Dinner at Watertown Brand Outlet
Not bad actually. Subway in Australia is always much better than Singapore with the fresher produce.
Perth Trip Day 5: Westfield Carousel Mall
I’m not a mall person but we had fun anyway. This mall is 12km from Perth city centre and is the largest shopping centre in the whole of Western Australia. Only trouble was there was difficulty getting a taxi back … Continue reading

Perth Trip Day 4: Tony Romas Dinner
I wasn’t very hungry and service was really bad. One of two rude experiences during the whole trip. But there was a really nice waitress too. Usually it’s just one person among the mostly really nice patient folk. Maybe they … Continue reading
Perth Trip Day 4: Drive back to Perth CBD
Driving from Bunbury crossing the Swan River and back to the Perth CBD area. We checked into a lovely hotel in Perth with a great location – Peppers King’s Square Hotel.

Perth Trip Day 4: A Cafe & a Gorgeous Rose Garden- The Kodja Place Rose Maze, Kojonup
The sun was intense even on this autumn day so the roses seem to be wilting a bit but they were beautiful.

Perth Trip Day 4: Breakfast at Bayside B&B Was the Best I’ve ever Had
I’m still dreaming of the marmalade toast. Everything was freshly made from scratch and you can tell. The owner and chef was just so warm and professional. I would highly recommend this place that my sister found. She’s great at … Continue reading
Perth Trip Day 3: Jojo’s Pizza Dinner Delivery at the B&B
We ordered delivery to the hotel. The lovely owner helped. Satisfyingly cheesy pizza. But a bit disappointed at the soggy fries and garlic bread. Super generous portions though. Nice cosy sofa nook outside our rooms to dine and that was … Continue reading
Perth Trip Day 3: The Most Spectacular Sunset at The Gap and Natural Bridge
My mum and sis truly marvelled at the views and sunset here. For me it was exciting to see the power and beauty of the ocean once again. One of the most energising sights on our trip. I took videos … Continue reading

Perth Trip Day 3: Elephant Rocks and Greens Pool
Felt a bit spiritual here as I had a strong scent of holy ash as we walked towards the elephant rocks (and I’m not even religious). I am spiritual though and I do believe in other dimensions and that science … Continue reading

Perth Trip Day 3: Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk
We were surprised that my mum found the tree top walk no problem at all. We all enjoyed being in the forest and breathing in that fresh scent. Feel fortunate to have had this commune with nature.

Perth Trip Day 3: Donut and Pie and Crossings Bakery
Out of all the pies I had on this trip this was the best one. Although I must say it can’t beat the chicken Camembert pie I had in Tasmania (a trip pre covid that I regret not blogging about … Continue reading

Perth Trip Day 3: On the Road Again – Margaret River
Our guide showed us the Margaret River Bakery making us think that perhaps we should have skipped the hotel breakfast. The place looked very crowded though.
Perth Trip Day 3: Breakfast Again at Pullman Bunker Bay Before Heading Out on the Road for Coffee at Red Feather
We were heading out to our next destination so checked out early at 9am. Before that breakfast. My first time trying Apple Cake and I love it so much.

Perth Trip Day 2: Room Service Dinner turned out to be one of our Best Meals
We were not even hungry but my sister wanted to order room service. It came piping hot and turned out to be spectacular. I’m still craving for those incredible chips. Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside with … Continue reading

Perth Trip Day 2: Prevelly -the drive towards the Mouth of the Margaret River
It was a lovely drive with stops like this along the way. We had no real itinerary so often we were surprised.
Perth Trip Day 2: Best Ice Cream in the World at Simmos
This was another experience during the trip that was unforgettable. I blogged earlier about Joondalup Lake but that was actually Day 7, so this was our first out of this world experience on this post covid trip. I’m craving for … Continue reading
Perth Trip Day 2: Canal Rocks at the Leeuwen-Naturalist National Park
Beautiful, spectacular views made us leave our hearts in Western Australia.
Perth Trip Day 2: Winery Rest Stop & Vintage Cars
This is why I need to not be lazy and write more notes during the trip. Now that I’m blogging post trip, my memory is fading and it’s only been 3 weeks since we returned to Singapore from Perth.

Perth Trip Day 2: Meelup to Yallingup – the beauty of the landscape made the drive very relaxing
I would definitely do this again although initially I had doubts about whether so many hours in a car would be comfortable. And it was exciting to see ducks, kangaroos and the glorious surf.
