5 Reasons Why I Would Return to ARC: 1. Relatively Empty (don’t have to squeeze with other folks when you dine) 2. Free Parking on weekends and on Weekdays if you spend $30 (no need to rush off and with … Continue reading
Will be back with more posts but meanwhile I wrote this at White as Milk.
The area in front of Central looks so different when it rains. The river got so muddy but our thunderstorms always calm me.
Love the clean designs of Japanese goods, and Muji’s food products are so pretty. Even simple things like marshmellows. But prices are not low (compared to Ikea), and it’s quite a splurge if you decide to get anything here.
Saw plenty of new things at ION, including the American equivalent of Franc Franc and Ikea – Crate and Barrel. The gourmet supermarket Jasons has opened here too. The food court has been revamped as well. But alas, my favourite … Continue reading
We had to check out the yearly Bazaar just outside Takashimaya where I saw people milling around to try samples. Hard to even walk in here but you sure can feel the pre Chinese New Year excitement. What I also … Continue reading
Somehow the older smaller mall was more impressive than the large one. But to be brutally honest, still can’t compare to malls in Singapore when it comes to selection. The same way malls in Singapore cannot come close to malls … Continue reading
It’s called Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall and the most interesting thing I found there was the A&W. It sure was nice to have a root beer float. I really hope they make a comeback in Singapore. B enjoyed his coney … Continue reading
B wanted to stop at The Premium Outlets in Johor on our way back from Malacca, as the Ralph Lauren store just opened for business. Didn’t think I would make a return visit after the last one. Everything was still … Continue reading
B brought me to Plaza Singapura and I was amazed to see a new wing. I wonder how come he always knows when something new opens. He said it was just random thing as he spotted the new wing from … Continue reading
We were at the original CK Tang at Orchard Road to look at kitchen stuff. The place is being renovated at the new varnish on the upper levels were stinging my eyes. But the basement seemed ok. They always have … Continue reading
I was immediately attracted to this bowl. You see, I like things made of natural materials and I have a weakness for light woods. Even for flooring at home I prefer blonde woods to dark ones like teak. I usually … Continue reading
There’s a Dairy Queen here now. They used to be in Singapore, then they left and now they’re back. A pink kitchen scale at the Sqft Home Decor store. Muji has a branch here now. Tampines 1 is getting more … Continue reading
I get excited when I spot Halloween themed stuff. Saw quite a bit at Tampines 1. First at Cold Storage. And then at the food basement. Daiso had a great selection of decorative stuff to do up your home. Time … Continue reading
Would be even more enticing if it was the dollar store but I guess you can’t buy much with a dollar these days. Everyone loves a good bargain.
So far the trip seems a tad boring, but perhaps it was because I wasn’t taking pictures with an intention to blog about the trip. It’s funny how blogging itself can make a trip more fascinating. I’m hoping it gets … Continue reading
I was attracted by the pretty florals and spotted Cath Kidston designs at Tatty Marsh when we were browsing at Tanglin Mall. It’s one of the prettiest stores I’ve seen. All a bit too expensive though and I’m sure they … Continue reading
