Finally Tried the Udon at Tamoya
Finally tried out the new udon place at Liang Court. It’s at level 1 but located in an obscure corner next to the Food Court. Missed it on another occasion and had Shakey’s Pizza instead. Prices are reasonable but it’s … Continue reading

Takashimaya Food Hall: Best Udon at Tsuru-koshi
I like that there’s a mini bowl of Udon at Tsuru-koshi, for just S$4. The regular sized one with an egg that looks so good huh?

My Village: The Japanese Food was Pretty Good at Shin Kushiya
I would come to Shin Kushiya again although the prices are a tad steep. The Pumpkin Croquette I picked, is not the healthiest thing but so yummy. Happy that we were given a huge cosy booth seat. A peek at … Continue reading

Yayoiken: The New Japanese Restaurant at Liang Court
Been to Yayoiken twice already and I find the food authentic. You can tell by the fact that there are many Japanese patrons as well and there’s always a queue. Tried the Oyaku Don and Udon and they were both … Continue reading
Genki Sushi for the Yummiest Sushi Belt Experience
The first clue that the food here is authentic? The place was filled with Japanese patrons. I hardly see any Japanese patrons at the other Singapore chain outlets. The second of course – the taste. The inari sushi here was … Continue reading

Liang Court (Little Japan in Singapore, plus a slice of Vietnam)
I am drawn to Liang Court because of the number of authentic Japanese outlets here. I was immediately captivated by the new Starhub Sumo ad plastered at the travelator. Just love places in Singapore that are empty and spacious. And … Continue reading

Ichiban Boshi at Nex
I was hankering for the simple kitsune udon I had at Osaka, and Ichiban Boshi has a good enough version that comes in a smaller half bowl portion (S$4.90). It’s not the healthy kind of sushi but I do love … Continue reading

Black Pig Udon
It’s always so hard to decide what to eat when you’re surrounded by what seems like a million choices at Liang Court. I was motivated to try something new for the blog’s sake. In the end we were intrigued by … Continue reading

Hanamaru in Osaka: The Place to Go For Udon and Inari Sushi
Someone should bring this Japanese Food Chain called Hanamaru to Singapore. It’s affordable and they sell the best udon and inari sushi. So I discovered that Japan is not as expensive as it was in the past. I am craving … Continue reading

Fish Mart Sakuraya
B had the green cold noodles which you dip in a sweet sauce. I tried it once and realised that I possibly could acquire the taste for cold noodles. It has a refreshing taste and the noodles are al dente. … Continue reading

Don at Liang Court: Fried Pork Cutlet Half Bowl and Mini Sanuki Udon Set
Liang Court is one of my favourite malls in Singapore because it seems like little Japan. It’s not near an MRT (subway) so it doesn’t get too crowded. It was S$14 for the set at Don, which consists of fried … Continue reading

Ichiban Sushi
