Butter Cake Batter

It’s amazing to think how butter, sugar, eggs and flour are transformed into a cake. My favourite part is the batter. Why does cake batter always taste so good.

Our old Kenwood mixer was working fine and then it went berserk. It refused to slow down and just went to maximum speed which did not bode well for the cake. The thing about electronic stuff is that if you don’t use it for a while it doesn’t work as well. Do you notice that too?

You made this? It looks delish!!! Love the raspberry swirls in the batter! Will I get to read more about your adventures in the kitchen? 😉

I am not much of a cook. Just did something for fun with my mum and we wanted to try out the really old Kenwood. Actually we were trying to make a marble cake with swirls but it didn’t really turn out too well. Maybe we’ll try again some day.
