I strongly recommend the fresh spring rolls and Pho at this Vietnamese Coffee shop called Long Phung in Joo Chiat. Not as good as those in Vietnam of course, but one of the best I’ve had in Singapore and at a good price too.
I usually go for the chicken pho.
Finally something healthy that tastes good too.
The iced coffee here is really strong. You need to let the ice melt a bit.
Interesting drinks on the menu.
Quite a number of Vietnamese patrons which tells me this place must be authentic.
What the shop looks like from the outside.
You can read about my previous visits here:
I’ve been wanting to visit them for so long already since they’re right next to my place but I wasn’t sure which ones! Thanks for this review! 🙂
yeah me too. I only discovered ‘Little Vietnam’ recently 🙂
Nice photos. If I want to go to any good eating outlet or shopping mall, I check here. It’s like a good encyclopedia of places! Thks.
Thanks so much. I am often lost as to where to go so I decided to just document places here. Makes the weekends not so boring.
I’m going there for late lunch today! Since the discovery this place, Le Viet has been long forgotten.
I haven’t been to Le Viet in quite a while too.

Is Joo Chiat a long road and how do I find “Long Phung”? p/s: i just discovered your blogs and they are GREAT!!! Your CNY 2013 Festivities is really in-sightful. I’m excited to visit Singapore during CNY!! 🙂
That makes me so happy and makes the effort of photographing and writing so worthwhile 🙂 thanks again and I hope you have an amazing time here.
Long Phung is at 159 Joo Chiat Road and this earlier post might be useful.
Best to take a taxi here as the MRT (our train station) is not very near by.
