I had no idea that Bay Front MRT was internally connected to the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Since the government has been discouraging gambling by locals, I always imagined that the stop would be placed at least 5 minutes away. I was very surprised to see how it was connected underground and was glad I did not have to take a walk in the hot sun. Anyway the government doesn’t have to worry about me. My weaknesses includes books, movies and high tea. Not interested in gambling.
It’s lovely to take the MRT at the off peak hour. I found one of the MRT Staff members very friendly. She was helping to direct people who were confused about the Bay Front Station. We had to get off at Promenade and wait for the train going one stop away to Bay Front.
Yes, I love the convenience too!
No more walking in the hot sun through the helix bridge..yay!
Yay, it’s finally open! So no more walking along dodgy building sites and staring workers (apparently the Singaporean equivalent of whistling and shouting out comments) when I’m picking up S. for lunch.
