I have passed by Pique Nique a number of times but never tried it before. Well I finally did. Sauntered towards this little cafe on a whim as everywhere else was too crowded. I didn’t find the seating too comfortable, but I am sure the younger crowd will be charmed by the decor. Oldies like me prefer plush sofas and more solid tables. Guess I might have been happier at a booth seat. I was most impressed that the serving size was generous. I didn’t expect the waffles to be that huge.

What is on top along with the butter? Is it some sort of maple butter?
We opted for I think butterscotch ice-cream (I forget now) and the toppings were maple syrup and whipped butter. We wanted butter instead of whipped cream.
