Pretty display of cranes at The Cathay, but unfortunately the latest Star Trek movie sucked. I felt a zero emotional connection and it was all so cliche. Perhaps I was tired, but I actually almost fell asleep in the middle of the movie. Kinda forced myself to stay awake. It didn’t help that the woman next to me was annoyingly fidgeting around and doing who knows what with her boyfriend. She also kept turning on her phone during the movie and the light was shining in my face. Super annoying. This is why I prefer to book seats at the very last minute and sit away from people. Or pay more for a premiere seat.
