A photograph of the artist, Rodin, who sculpted The Thinker.
Loved the quote about colour.
Monet paints his wife on her deathbed. Haunting and sad.
I find mother child portraits to be full of emotion.
The most famous one of all – Starry Starry Night.
I love the use of yellow and blue. Yellow stars convey warmth.
Found this one with the clear outlines very captivating as well.
I feel sorry for the deer that is being hunted.
And so I left the exhibition reluctantly, hoping to return on a quiet day.
Extremely tempted at the museum shop but didn’t buy anything – this time.
I hope you go see the exhibition which will be in Singapore till 5 Feb 2011. What I featured is just a small portion of the 140 precious artworks on display. I want the exhibition to be successful so that more amazing Art will come our way. Although secretly I like the quiet of an empty museum. Very peaceful indeed.
Oh my goodness, this is awesome. At least this would be a worthy exhibition for those who have yet to visit the Louvre 🙂 Fantastique.
I feel so lucky that all these wonderful exhibitions are coming to Singapore.
I love Starry Night! I know it’s cliche, but I do!
me too…there’s something about the yellow against the blue.
