Plaza Singapura: Hot Dogs at the Bratwurst Shop

If you care for a real hot dog for lunch, then I would suggest this place at the basement of Plaza Singapura. The hot dogs will leave you stuffed and they have all the sauces too. The owners seem to be from Australia. I was tempted by the all day pancakes for S$5.50, but I resisted the temptation of having an all sugar lunch.

I chose the swiss cheese pork with bacon and cheese topping. You just have to wait a minute or two for your order to be ready.

The whole place is in a vibrant red and the sausages are not the mushy kind that we usually get. The bread that’s used is firm as well.

On weekdays it’s almost impossible to get a seat during lunch hour. I didn’t quite care the french fries though. They were deep fried in a kind of batter I think. A bit like the style of the fries at Long John Silvers. If you like those, you will like these.
