One thing I loved about Stockholm was all the candles and they looked even more beautiful after the sun set. To me this was special, as coming from Singapore, the only time I see candles lit is in a restaurant at dinner time. Candles or little fires outside each store delighted me to no end. I guess it just works better when the weather is really cold and closer to freezing point.
At the end of November the sun sets at around 3.30pm in the afternoon. By 4pm it feels like the middle of the night. But the city is so beautiful during twilight and it was nice to see the Old Town transformed.
I think the blue of the sky at twilight is the most gorgeous.
The most tasteful, simple yet beautiful Christmas Decorations I’ve seen yet. Still hard to imagine that it was just 3pm in the afternoon.
Again I’m reminded of home…it gets very dark very early back home, too…although more in the 4pm range than 3
I think to experience different seasons is just wonderful. I feel like I am missing out with the same thing every day. I guess we have 2 seasons. Hot and hotter, and warm and wet 😉
