I used to be very reluctant to go to IMM as I found the place rather dingy. The only reason I had to come here was when Singapore had only one Daiso outlet. IMM has since transformed, with their new wing filled with factory outlet stores.
Surprisingly it wasn’t very crowded for a Saturday. Never imagined I’d say this, but I’m glad there is no more free parking.
The luxury brands include Sacoor, Coach & Polo Ralph Lauren. Very tiny stores though so don’t expect too much. Not like the huge outlet stores in the US, but pretty good compared to the past – which was zilch.
I could never afford a Coach bag though. A tote that I liked was about S$400 after discount. That’s just crazy as I can’t imagine spending more than S$200 for a handbag. Perhaps I’m just out of touch when it comes to prices of luxury items and I tend to use my bags for a very long time. I need just one that I love that is roomy enough for my books and hope that it lasts me at least 5 years.
I like the women’s business wear at Sacoor. It’s such a pretty store too. Had to snap shots of the changing room which was lovely. The grey wallpaper appealed to me and there are cushioned seats to rest on while waiting for your partner or parent to finish with their shopping.
I also liked the Fashion Outlet by Jay Gee, with pretty dresses for little girls from the Carter brand. Osh Kosh overalls too. The prices were not that great though as I believe they are still much cheaper in the US. My partner liked the discount on the Levi’s Jeans. And I had to snap a shot of those crazy high purple stilettos. I would break an ankle just trying to put this on.
The clothes at the Fox Kids and Baby Outlet (a brand from Palestine) appealed to me both in terms of design and price. Children wear clothes a couple of times only and soon outgrow them but it’s so hard to resist getting new ones. And it’s so lovely to see them in different outfits in photos. I think they will appreciate this when they grow up and look back at their childhood photos. When I was a kid I wore the same outfit for two years at least till it got just too short or tight.
There is some entertainment for the kiddos and room enough to push your stroller.
Timberland which is just opposite the Coach Store is another place I usually check out. And New Balance, Rockport and Samsonite as also worth checking out. This latest visit to IMM made me change my mind about the best place to outlet shop in Singapore. I used to think it was Changi City Point, but IMM has beaten it with it’s new additions. I think it’s claim to be Singapore’s largest outlet mall is justified but I hope we get even better discounts and variety in the future.
I stopped at the Coffee Club for a break, wouldn’t it be awesome to have some speciality coffee places here (not chains I mean). But these days for a coffee joint to be hip it has to be located at an inaccessible place far away from the MRT.
Seems I missed out on the Gap and Banana Republic clothes at the FJB Outlet.
Here’s the IMM address:

Included the postal code which I should do in future posts as I need this too, when we hunt for places using our GPS.

Hi there,
Thanks for the review. I am wondering did you visit the polo outlet?
How’s the price and selection?
Thanks!
it was very tiny though….but the shirt cotton material was very soft and nice.
Hi all,
Just wondering how long is the trip to IMM from Changi Airport? I only have about 2.5hrs which includes me being at the gate for boarding again. Or is City Point my only option with this amount of time?
Lastly, how is the Lacoste and GEOX outlets if anyone knows?
Many thanks for any advice 🙂
That sounds too short a time. Changi is on the opposite site of Singapore to the outlet so will take you about 30-45 mins to get to depending on traffic. The journey time for there and back will be almost 90 mins.
Hi. Changi airport to IMM is quite far. You are like in the opposite side of the globe, changi is at north and IMM is at south. Your travel time (mrt/taxi) will be around atleast 1.5 hours back & forth (correct me if i’m wrong). So you don’t have enough time to take a look in the store’s. Better just go for Changi Centre Point, just one stop (mrt) from changi airport. Thank you!
what MRT station is going to Changi Center point
Your article on IMM was very good. I was in Singapore in 2017 and I had a chance to visit this place. It had really good bargains on many things.
