Ikea Tempts Me with Their Food Offerings

The Food Court at Ikea Tampines is bright and airy with loads of natural light streaming in. I love their trays on a trolley which help you to easily juggle loads of plates and cups.

I love the kid’s spaghetti served in kid portions, because most days I have a child’s taste buds (something my partner complains about). The local friend chicken wings (without batter) I love too. The fries are usually crispy hot and lovely, the servers feeling lazy are prepared them earlier and lined them all up. The fish and chips became an awful, soggy, clammy thing in the end. What a waste of potentially good Fish and Chips. The Coffee was dilute but I can’t complain since it’s free for Friends of Ikea. All that food cost about $12 Singapore dollars.

Their hot dogs are so great but we had the potato curry puffs this time which are pretty good since they are only 90 cents each (I still prefer my aunt’s homemade ones). I loved looking at all the wonderful exotic Swedish delights at their micro mart.
