The chocolate ice cream was too rich for me! I actually wanted a Cafe Viennese (espresso with fresh whipped cream instead) which I discovered was not on the menu after pouring through it. The white sofa chairs at this TCC at Central are nice to look at, but too not comfortable or ergonomic, if you have a bad back. Prices here are expensive. I lost my receipt but I think my coffee with taxes cost S$8 or more. Having said all that, the staff here are quite polite.

i really love the coffee at TCC, but it’s just so darn expensive! i think though, my vote for best coffee in s’pore, would have to be Halia at the Botanic Gardens. It’s soooo good!!
I haven’t tried Halia yet…great new coffee destination
yes! let me know if you want a Halia coffee-buddy – I’m always up for a good Cup ‘O Joe!
The sweet girl at my ice cream stand knows my order. She says, “The usual?”, as I walk up. It’s two balls of mint and chip ice cream, an espresso poured over it, then whipped cream. I’ll have to get you a picture of the locale as you have been so kind and generous with your sharing and photo journalism.
This is one of my favorite blogs.
Have a great day BJ.

Oooo sounds lovely Julie…I’d be excited to see your photos!
I really need to go to Singapore and just eat. And then come home and go on a diet. It looks so good!!
It’s true that it’s quite impossible to diet here. Although I am so into American food like burgers. Somehow I think the american food here is not that authentic. Fast food always satisfies my cravings. I think I could survive longer without rice then I could without bread.
