The other day I walked from Wheelok Place to Tanglin Mall and it was a surprisingly pleasant walk as it was a cloudy and cool evening. On the way I passed by some interesting sights like the 6 star hotel St Regis and some old and new sculptures. This is is definitely a pleasant stretch of road and Singapore is a great walking city.

Looks so nice and clean!! Thanks for posting!
thank you 🙂 that’s why I love the Orchard Road area (shopping district) or what we locals call ‘Town’
hahhaa yeahs you can totally walk the entire orchard!
I’d rather exercise this way than go on a treadmill 🙂
but you spend loads more money than on a treadmill 😀 unless you window shop like we students do hehs.
yeah it’s window shopping for me too. Luckily I don’t really care for shopping apart from books and furniture.
I can’t walk in Singapore unless it’s in the evening, it’s just too hot. I remembered walking outdoors for around 10 min. and I started having a headache, I was seirously suffering from a heatstroke. I have been living in HK for 3 yrs now, I still cannot get used to the summer months, but Singapore is just tropical
I need the air-conditioning all the time. The evening or early morning time is the only bearable moments. Or just after the rain.
