We had to check out the yearly Bazaar just outside Takashimaya where I saw people milling around to try samples. Hard to even walk in here but you sure can feel the pre Chinese New Year excitement. What I also like is the Hokkaido Fair that takes place in Takashimaya Food Hall itself with food and chefs from Japan. This takes place every now and then so don’t fret if you just missed it.

Thank you so much for all the amazing photos of CNY in Singapore. I wish i could be there but not this time unfortunately. Still, your amazing photos make me feel like i am right in the middle of all the action.
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. Really made my day. Feel so glad that the posts brought Singapore to you.
You cannot start to imagine how much I am enjoying your blogs – especially those on foodies and CNY cos’ i’ll be there in 2 weeks!!! Youpiiii!!! Now we have a rough idea what we can do, where we can go and what we can eat and what we can buy (there are even price-infos on some of your shots! GREAT!!!!). And yes, my french boyfriend who isn’t very fluent in English thinks it’s a wonderful site because he’s able to take a virtual tour of Singapore via your lovely photos! So, MERCI!!! 🙂
I am so overjoyed that it all helps in some way. Hope you have an amazing time here 🙂 you motivate me to keep blogging just when my motivation was fading. Thank you.
