Another unusually hot day in Singapore followed shortly after by torrential rains. It may not feel comfortable, but a sunny sky always renders better pictures. Since we’re at the equator the sun’s glare is so fierce that it’s hard to look up at the sky. I just squint, point and shoot. Singapore’s meteorological centre states the highest temperature as 33 degrees C but I beg to differ. It certainly felt closer to 35 degrees C and that’s what the car thermometer reflected. Heat like this totally zaps my energy.
The Noon heat soon gave way to dark clouds and a sudden heavy downpour. What a relief!
I didn’t get the rain where I was! It looked like it was going to pour, but it somehow didn’t.
It was probably convectional rain in some areas only. We are so tiny but the rain somehow doesn’t pour down everywhere.
