This is a little run down mall in Sembawang with a cheery name – Sun Plaza. No wonder it’s interior is painted yellow. It’s really old and I always worry that I will get stuck in the lift. It’s a good place to change currency though. They have money changers here that offer the best rates for the Malaysian Ringgit. Anyway that’s what B thinks. Let me know if you know of any other place that has even better rates. Today the exchange rate was RM236 for S$100. Also there is a lot of cheap stuff you can get at the dollar stores and provision stores which might be run by Malaysians.
