CNY2015: Parkway Parade
Interesting window displays and a creative take on the word for goat (which really looks like a goat as Chinese is a pictographic language). The promotional poster at Parkway Parade looked interesting too.
CNY2015: Firecrackers at ION
I was pretty impressed by the giant firecrackers at ION. I liked the flashing lights mimicking how a firecracker would go off. Without it the display would be boring. Understated looking window display at IWC which I liked as well.

CNY2015: Bazaar & Goats at Takashimaya (Ngee Ann City)
I refer to Ngee Ann City as Takashimaya although the department store is only part of it. Just for ease of reference. You can truly feel the Chinese New Year buzz here with their yearly bazaar at the basement atrium. … Continue reading

CNY2015: Another Visit to Chinatown
Wanted to see if more decorations were up so we headed to Chinatown. This time there were lucky coins in the air and the best view was from the overhead bridge. I also loved how the traditional lanterns strung up … Continue reading

Creative Goat Display for Chinese New Year
The most creative window display for the year of the goat so far. Loved the display at Marks and Spensers at Vivo City.

CNY 2015: Happy Goat Buns at Bread Talk
At East Point Mall we spotted the cutest goat buns (looked more like sheep to me). Bread Talk is not my favourite in terms of taste, but I admire the creativity.

Chinese New Year 2015: Giant Supermarket at Paya Lebar Square
First sightings of supermarkets stocking up for Chinese New Year. I’m always attracted to the intricate red paper cuttings.

Chinese New Year 2015: The Goats are Out in Chinatown
First sighting of goats in Chinatown for the New Year. There were sheep too as it’s the year of the goat, sheep or ram. Spotted them pow packets and in the form of plush toys and decorations. Even saw alpacas among … Continue reading
