There are some buildings in Singapore that are such eyesores and so poorly designed that I wish they would take a cue off the innovative architecture of the Marina Bay Sands. I know I have photographed this building so much already, but every-time I go by I just want to capture it’s beauty once again.
It’s pretty from afar.
And even more stunning up close, as you see the sky reflected off the clear glass panels. I find beauty in the precision and symmetry. Every minute detail seems to have been taken into consideration.
Seriously I squeal with delight (on the inside of course) whenever I see this structure.
Dreamy to see a building with clouds on it.
The glittery shimmery material they used as a feature, looks like a pool of mercury from afar.
Even upon departure, it’s presence continues to command your attention.
While it was still being built, I thought it was a huge ugly structure, resembling 3 joss sticks. Now, I just love taking photos of it. If there’s anything nicer than photos of MBS in the day time, then it’s photos of MBS at night!
yeah me too…I was thinking…not another monstrocity
I, too, never quite appreciated its beauty while it was still in the midst of being constructed. But now that it’s all done, the view from Fullerton Bay overlooking Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Flyer at night is just breathtakingly gorgeous!
I have yet to have an up-close night view of the MBS 🙂 So far only seen the lights from Glutton’s Bay.
That is amazing.
Omg love the reflection of clouds on the building! That’s just pure beauty!
me too….can’t get enough of this building 🙂 & I’m usually not into buildings but have become more and more attached to the new ones, as well as the restored heritage shophouses.
