Tom Cruise Interviewed in India
So many people seem to be hating on Tom Cruise, but I still like him. Love his energy and optimism and when we were girls in school practically everyone had a crush on him. It was the wonderful 80’s. I … Continue reading

Stockholm: Food I Liked
I think I have already raved non stop about the crossaints. The buffet breakfast at Hotel Rival was amazing. I especially loved the crossaints, various jams, Scandinavian nutella, bacon and scrambled eggs. There was so much more, but these were … Continue reading

Helsinki: Moomin Trolls
In Helsinki I fell in love with a new bunch of characters. The Moomin, spelt as Muumi in Finnish I guess, which I saw everywhere in both Helsinki it’s place of origin and Stockholm. Moomin is a cartoon that was … Continue reading
Food I Miss & Crave for After a Trip Abroad
After this recent trip, it was confirmed again. The food I crave for is always wan tan mee. For most people it seems to be chicken rice or hokkien mee but not for me. I love wan tan mee, especially … Continue reading
Helsinki: The Food I Didn’t Like
I’ll do another entry on the food I liked but mostly the trip made me appreciate the food we have back home which is way cheaper and more suited to my taste buds. Guess I am not very adventurous when … Continue reading
Singapore’s Harbour looks Magical from the Sky
I love how all the huge tankers and cargo vessels look like toy ships from high above. This is the best part about being in a plane. The view and knowing that you’ll be home soon. Distracted me and made … Continue reading
How Stockholm Transformed as the Sun Set
One thing I loved about Stockholm was all the candles and they looked even more beautiful after the sun set. To me this was special, as coming from Singapore, the only time I see candles lit is in a restaurant … Continue reading

Gamla Stan: Quaint Old Town in Stockholm
Another of my favourite places in Stockholm was Gamla Stan which means Old Town. It was just a subway ride away from our hotel so it was the very first area we explored and also said to be a must … Continue reading
Skansen in Stockholm
Skansen which is a ferry or tram ride away from the city centre, was one of my favourite places. It’s where I got to see the Nordic animals. It’s an open air museum or a sort of cultural theme park … Continue reading
Christmas Decorations in Stockholm & Helsinki
I found the Christmas decorations in Stockholm and Helsinki absolutely charming. Christmas felt more magical and less commercial. Real Christmas trees rather than artifical ones was one huge factor. Decorations were tasteful and not gaudy like it can be in … Continue reading
Furthest North I’ve Ever Been: Helsinki & Stockholm
This is the most last minute trip I have ever been on. Felt quite unprepared and the night before wanted to cancel, due to my claustrophobia. I had a major panic attack and it was quite scary. Thank goodness for … Continue reading

Christmas Lights at Somerset 313
Seen some gaudy Christmas decorations, but at least these colours are quite pretty. Still, Christmas in Singapore is very, extremely commercialized.

Lemon Tart & Matcha Latte at Tea Dot (Nex)
Not the best lemon tart I guess, but I think it’s pretty good. Anyone know where I can get the best lemon tarts? I prefer these to chocolate sometimes. I like my desserts sour sweet.
